Lorne Michaels, creator of SNL and executive producer of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, has been given the green light for a pilot to a new comedy. This is HBO’s way of following up their hit The Newsroom.
This new show would also follow in the footsteps of The Newsroom, which would be following the news media with a comedic twist.
The show will be about to former Late Night writers, Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin as reporters.
The show is currently untitled, and the news was first reported by Deadline about the upcoming pilot.
