It’s official — Harry Styles is no longer a teenager!
The One Direction singer, born February 1, 1994, has turned 20 today! Styles, along with bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, first rose to fame after placing third in the seventh series of The X Factor UK. Together, the group has released three successful albums, won several awards, performed a worldwide tour, and released an autobiographical concert film that is now the fourth highest grossing concert movie.
Styles, known for his voice, looks, hair, and romances, has had a lot to celebrate over this year: the release of One Direction’s movie, This is Us; the Take Me Home tour; the release of the band’s third studio album, with two successful hit singles; 1D Day; Appearances on both the US and UK versions of The X Factor; a number one album; becoming the first band in the Billboard 200 to have their first three albums appear at number 1 ; and yesterday’s (1/31) release of their third single, “Midnight Memories,” from the album of the same name.
Many fans have taken to Twitter to tweet kind words to help the Brit singer celebrate his special day, and some have even donated to the Believe in Magic Charity in his honor. So far, a whopping $9,605.23 has been given! Many are also contributing to getting the view count up on the latest music video:
