Help Zachary Levi With Nerd HQ

Last week Zachary Levi launched the “I Want My Nerd HQ” campaign.  Nerd HQ is an annual event put on by Zachary and others that raises money for Operation Smile, a charitable organization helping children around the world who are born with cleft lips, palates, and facial deformities.

The event hosts panels of celebrities (including Tom Hiddleston, Matt Smith, Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Vin Diesel, and Seth Green to name a few), which have a small entry fee (which completely benefits Operation Smile).  In addition, to the panels Nerd HQ throws epic dance parties, and streams over 25 hours of “Conversation for a Cause” free.

In previous years Nerd HQ has been host to infamous moments like, “Tom Hiddleston’s impression of a velociraptor, Doctor Who actors Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman jumping on stage to surprise Game of Thrones star Richard Madden during his panel, and Stan Lee dropping by to take photos with fans at one of our awesome photo booths.”

However, Nerd HQ needs the fans’ help.  To properly plan the event, rent the venue, get lighting, audio, video, staff, and so on, the Nerd Machine is asking for donations.  Zachary is intent on keeping the event free for fans, so by helping Nerd HQ fulfill these necessities for the event to function, the event will be able to remain free.
