Season 5 of Community just keeps getting better and better with The Hollywood Reporter announcing that John Oliver will be returning to the show for at least six of the show’s scheduled 13 episodes this season.
Fans of the cult comedy smash will know Oliver as Ian Duncan, the borderline alcoholic Psychology Professor, who has a tendency to rap about the size of his penis and doesn’t always remember how to find his way to campus when sober.
Appearing first in the pilot episode, Oliver had a recurring role throughout the first two seasons of the show. Not that he’s been waiting around looking for something to do; in fact he’s just finished up an eight week fill in spot as host of Comedy Central’s, The Daily Show, in the absence of Jon Stewart.
No official announcement has been made by NBC on exactly when Community will return to our screens, so keep checking in with PopWrapped for information as it comes to hand.
