The time has come:
Hilary Duff’s brand new single “Chasing the Sun” has arrived one day before it hits iTunes (July 29th). It’s been over seven years since we were treated to those breathy vocals, but the wait is over.
And I’m not exactly jumping up and down.
“Chasing the Sun” is a catchy, breezy summer tune, but the days of “Come Clean,” “So Yesterday” and “Danger” seem to be gone.
I’m not saying I dislike “Chasing the Sun” by any means, but I am hoping the upcoming album (released last this year) will see the Duffster return to her glory days.
Did we all expect Hilary to jump aboard the EDM train and have us jumping up and down in our living rooms? Maybe. But that hope should have been dashed when she announced she was working with Ed Sheeran.
