Judging from the new Red Band trailer, fans of the gritty, neo-noir comic book style of the original Sin City can expect more of the same in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, along with an extra dose of girl power to accompany all the firepower.
The trailer shows more of the sex, crime, violence, seediness, and sadness surrounding the denizens of Sin City. The film’s intertwining stories center around returning cast members including Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, and Rosario Dawson as well as newcomers Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Eva Green as the titular Femme fatale.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, directed by Robert Rodriguez and creator Frank Miller, hits theaters August 22, 2014.
