HONESTLY Drops Self-Induced Heartbreak Anthem, FAULT.

Hearthrob duo, HONESTLY is back with another stunning track, this time – a self-induced heartbreak anthem in which a lot of us can relate to. & The track is absolutely stunning.

“I still feel your ghost everywhere I go  Like our parking lot after dark And it all reminds me; You are the lightest thing to ever come into my arms” Eric sings on the pre-chorus.

“Fault” is self-induced heartbreak. The song is told from an unorthodox perspective— the perspective of who is essentially the heartbreaker, although the pain is felt all the same. Sometimes relationships can present such a potent connection, but technical implications make it impractical or difficult to sustain.

This song is about being honest with yourself and that other person and knowing that ending things is the most sensible one. Whether it be a disparity in age, life stage, distance, or other hindrances, the listener can relate to the feeling of having a solid connection with another that is somehow doomed from the start.

directed by Stephen Cwiok, you will be just as hooked with the video.

This is the song that means the most to me on the record. Much like how the band started, this song was written during a time where one of us was at an emotional low. I remember coming to the studio so sad with only lyrics and a chord progression— just singing it live in front of Dalton. The song was built start to finish in a matter of hours that same night and I knew we had something special.” Eric explains.

This track is a beautiful follow up to their last single, < Lovers (Less than Lovers). The track blends stunning lyricism with beautiful production and leaves you craving more and more listens. The releases they are releasing shows that no matter what route they go with a release, their artistry continues to grow and showcase the epitome of perfection that they embody as emerging artists.
