House Of Cards has been one of Netflix’s most successful original series, with both critical acclaim and commercial success in hand. With a third season currently on the way, the online streaming service has now gone and revealed the official air date for the show.
The third season was announced before the second one even made its way on Netflix. During the latter’s finale, we were left with Frank Underwood finally landing his much-craved Presidency of the United States, with him and Claire now becoming the first couple. A new post on House Of Cards‘ official Facebook page has now revealed the air date of season 3, along with a short tease of Frank gazing at us while getting on a plane with his wife. The message was put online along with the caption “A special message from the White House”. It not only serves as an announcement for the premiere of the show’s third season, but also as our first look at Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright reprising their starring roles in it.
House Of Cards will air its entire third season on Netflix on February 27, 2015.
