Cristin Milioti may be more bubbly than a glass of champagne, seriously.
While on Conan, she revealed that she was almost arrested. Only because she was on her way out to Los Angeles to join the rest of the cast from How I Met Your Mother.
“It’s been hard to get used to the driving. I was almost arrested the first night ’cause they thought I was drunk” she told Conan O’Brien. The cops that pulled her over thought that she was drunk and performed numerous test trying to prove it.
“They pulled me over. I failed every sobriety test. I failed the pupil test. There’s a pupil test they give you, but my pupils in their resting stage look like someone who’s twice over the legal limit”. Rest assured, Milioti told Conan that she had nothing to drink prior to driving.
“They ask you to do such ridiculous, hilarious things. So I couldn’t stop laughing, and they said, ‘Do the alphabet backwards and slowly touch your nose while you’re doing it’—which I couldn’t do sober! I couldn’t do that for you now!” That is completely understandable because I don’t know anyone that could do it either. “They also have you bend over and count to 30 and then whip your head back on 30, I thought that was very funny”. You would think someone would get whiplash doing that.
When it came to the breathalyzer test, cops were not convinced. The first initial test came back reading nothing. “They got me another one” because they couldn’t believe it and thought that it might be broken. “No way, this girl is wasted.” But Milioti hadn’t had a drop.
Milioti also talked about her fighting scene with Leonardo DiCaprio for The Wolf of Wall Street, which was filmed in the front of Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York.
DiCaprio really wanted her to hit him. “And so I did, for hours…like, 30 [takes]. He was all shaky.” She kept hitting him “over and over. But that’s the other confusing thing. Like, we’re just going to do the same thing for eight hours. Surely you [the paparazzi] must have your shot, you must have many cats to go home to, numerous Internet searches…”
That would have been a great picture.
