Whether or not you’re a Kardashian fan, you’ve probably noticed that all of their names start with the letter “K”. So it would have made sense that Kimye’s baby girl would get a “K” name too, right? On an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, filmed while Kim was seven months pregnant, it was revealed that the expectant parents were worried that their family would get stuck with an unsavory nickname. To be blunt, they were worried that they would be jokingly called the KKK.

What did the rest of the Kardashian clan think of Kim and Kanye’s decision? Reactions varied. Kim’s stepbrother, Brody Jenner, thought the worry over a bad nickname was “a little crazy.” On the other hand, Kim’s sister Kourtney, a mother herself, was a fan of the proposed name North West. She called it a “pretty and cool” name.

On a similar subject, sources allege that the name North was chosen to symbolize “the highest point” in Kim and Kanye’s relationship. We’re not sure if we think that’s sweet, or if it implies that it’s all downhill from here for Kimye.
