26-year old-actor, Zac Efron admitted to feeling “blessed” when speaking to People Magazine about having a successful career at the premiere of The Neighbours in Austin, Texas.

He said, “I’ve been blessed to have the opportunities I’ve had. It couldn’t have happened better. I’m stoked.”

Efron had previously stated that he was in a “great place” after finishing a rehab stint last year for alleged cocaine and alcohol abuse and said he felt welcomed back in Austin.

At a Facebook live talk with The Neighbours cast, Efron said that director Richard Linklater introduced him to SXSW in Austin and that “he’d kind of fallen in love” with the city.

That Awkward Moment star also explained feeling star-struck when meeting his costar, Seth Rogen at a party.

Since his completion of rehab, Efron took some time to heal after an accidentally slipping outside of his Los Angeles home last November which resulted in a broken jaw.
