Iggy Azalea is not letting her debut era come to an end, by re-releasing her album The New Classic as Reclassified. The hot-right-now rapstress has now premiered the first official offering from the record’s repackage, titled “Beg For It” and featuring MØ.
While Iggy follows her norm with the verses and delivers the attitude throughout the tune, she gets assistance from up-and-coming Danish songstress, MØ. The track itself follows the regular formula, with the addictive hook hitting right after each one of the rap verses. The two have great flow and sound fantastic on the track, which is catchy enough to be a hit waiting to happen. With the bass and the synths in place, it’s not sonically far from Iggy Azalea’s smash hit, “Fancy”, with Charli XCX.
The rapstress also made her debut on Saturday Night Live during the weekend and got to perform the track. Despite her amazing stage presence, the performance of “Beg For It” was heavily judged due to MØ’s not-so-good appearance. However, both artists have moved forward with Iggy defending her guest singer and MØ blaming her struggling vocal rendition to technical issues.
