Iggy Azalea Drops Ellie Goulding And Jennifer Hudson Collabs

Iggy Azalea recently re-released her debut album as Reclassified, along with two big collaborations; one with Ellie Goulding and one with Jennifer Hudson.

Iggy Azalea went on to re-release her very successful debut studio album, The New Classic, as Reclassified. The repackaged version of course included a few brand-new tracks, along with two attention-grabbing collaborations, one with Ellie Goulding and one with Jennifer Hudson.

On the one hand, the rapstress joined forces with Ellie on a track called “Heavy Crown”. Produced by Invisible Men, the track builds into an electronic cut with hard-hitting beats and everything included. The attitude is also perfectly on point, as Iggy Azalea delivers the verses and the “Lights” star later jumps in for the chorus hook. It’s all about that heavy crown that needs to be passed at some point, but “Bitch, I got it now!”, the two declare in the final line of the chorus.

On the other hand, “Trouble” finds Iggy Azalea teaming up with Jennifer Hudson. The rapstress was one of the featured artists on the latter’s studio album, JHUD, so it was time for her to return the favor. This one serves as a dance-tingled and jazz-inspired cut, driven by piano and beautiful backing vocals. Iggy provides the verses, before Jennifer takes the lead on the chorus and sings that soul about a boy that’s trouble.

Two completely different tracks indeed, but both utterly solid. They definitely make for a strong album repackaging and Iggy Azalea simply keeps on winning. Take a listen to both below.
