Insurgent Gets Its First Posters Unleashed

Divergent did not turn out to be the box office megatherium that Hunger Games did, but the film still did well enough to get further installments. The sequel, Insurgent, is scheduled to arrive in early spring of next year and the first posters have now been revealed.

The second installment in the Divergent series, Insurgent, introduces a short hair-do for the leading lady, Tris, played by Shailene Woodley. A total of eight posters was unleashed, with the rest portraying Four, Caleb, Christina, Tori, Peter, Uriah and Max, played by Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Zoë Kravitz, Maggie Q, Miles Teller, Keiynan Lonsdale and Mekhi Phifer respectively. Now don’t they all look badass and ready for action?

Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate unveiled the promotional posters with the characters in 3D as well. This comes with the announcement of Insurgent also being released in a 3D version when it hits theaters. The premiere date of the film is scheduled on March 20, 2015.
