What could possibly be better than Alexander Skarsgard playing the scantily-clad jungle man, Tarzan? A scantily-clad Alexander Skarsgard playing opposite Christoph Waltz as the villain, that’s what!

There are truly few things I love more in this world than Christoph Waltz. I will see anything he is in, no matter the movie. If Waltz played a lead role in a biopic of Taylor Swift, I would see it for him alone. That is how deep my love runs for this brilliant man.

According to Digital Spy, Waltz is negotiating terms to play a Belgian solider whose life-mission is to capture Tarzan to collect a reward of diamonds.

If you’ve seen Inglorious Basterds, you know that Waltz was born to play a villain. While I enjoyed his role immensely in Django Unchained, seeing him play the good guy just didn’t feel right to me. He is far too good at being bad.

There have also been rumors that Samuel L. Jackson may be participating in the film as an ally to Tarzan, and also a mercenary.

The movie, should it ever come to fruition (production was halted earlier this year due to budgetary restrictions), will be directed by David Yates.
