Adele, 25, has allegedly been advised by Elton John to follow in the footsteps of Celine Dion and Cher by pursuing her own headlining show in Las Vegas.
The Sun claims that casinos in Sin City are competing to attract Adele to have her own show at their venues, which is a concept that John has reportedly suggested for the “Skyfall” singer.
“The highest figure being touted is $40 million but it could be even higher,” a source told the British tabloid. “Elton’s been a really good friend to her and they’ve been Skyping parental advice. But he is a businessman too, and has been telling Adele Vegas residency could secure a really good future for her family.”
While an Adele concert itself is enough of a draw, I highly doubt she would settle for a Vegas show at the prime of her career. She’s too busy working on her third solo album, while balancing life as a new mother to commit to the gruelling schedule that a daily or weekly show would require.
