It would seem Prince George is giving Katy Perry a run for her money when it comes to roaring.

Prince William appeared for the first time at a joint red carpet event last night since his son’s birth, for the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards.

Jokingly he implied to the guests that his first, and only, son has lungs that could easily match that of a lion.

Naturally, the proud parents were worried about their son. This outing was the first time they have had an evening without him.

More than anything though, William and Kate worry about the world they will bring their son into. They grew up with the luxury of seeing animals they loved, which now is becoming harder for the family to experience.

With 35,000 elephants hunted for their tusks last year alone; they both want this to stop. William and Kate want their son to grow up with elephants and rhinoceros’ available to him. Honestly? Most of us want this too.

Prince William even said in an interview that he would expose his son, the third-in-line for the British throne, to all things African from an early age with “toy elephants and Rhinos around the room.”

The new parents are willing to “make him grow up as if he’s in the bush” as William said humorously.

Prince George is now seven weeks old.

Hs in perfect position to become our new King of the Jungle, let alone King of England.
