Things are looking good for the team of Entourage as they seem to be closing their movie deal. Speaking on The Wendy Williams Show, co-star Jerry Ferrara said that the movie adaptation could happen as soon as right now.
“It’s looking good. It’s looking real good. It could be closed today,” Ferrara, who played Turtle on the HBO series, commented in his interview with Williams, “I could go look at my phone right now, and it’s done. It’s real close. We’re hoping to shoot in January. Hoping.”
Although it was previously reported that the delays were due to cast members holding out for more money, Ferrara reported that it was not because of any holdouts. He told Williams, “Athletes hold out when they have a contract they don’t want to honour. No one’s holding out. It just takes a little time. We’re actually on schedule.”
This sounds like it’s in line with the most recent progress reports, as well as what Ferrera’s Entourage co-star Kevin Connolly said last week.
Well, that basically says it for the soon-to-be-realized Entourage movie! Shooting should start in January, so stay tuned.
