Miley recently sat down with Kelly Osbourne for Fashion Police. She talked about her image.
Cyrus said: “It’s called puberty. Everyone’s done it from the beginning of time. I’m just doing it (in the spotlight) so you’re zooming in on it and you’re fascinated by it”.
Miley has been harshly criticized for her image after her radical haircut, recent music videos and nude pictures for Marc Jacobs.
“Everything I’m doing with my videos, everything I do with my music, I just want it to be really honest. I feel like I’ve been a character for so long, that now I just want all of my performances, all of my videos to be really real”.
She also defended herself stating that she’s not a “robot.”
She said: “I don’t think people understand how I’m a real human being […] People think that I was made in Burbank in the Disney building”.
Miley also promoted her “Protect the Skin You’re In” t-shirt to raise money for cancer research charities.
Watch Miley perform at the MTV VMAS this weekend. Her new album BANGERZ will be released on October 8th.
