This post started out completely differently. It started with me trying to contain my fangirling; a quality that I portray only when news about one band trickles through the interwebz: *NSYNC.
Lance Bass, whom I’ve recently discovered is the cruelest man alive, tweeted about an *NSYNC reunion, new songs that were to be recorded and a greatest hits album. Not only did he tweet it, he linked it to a seemingly legitimate Ryan Seacrest story. All of which were supporting materials for his evil April Fools’ ruse.
Last year, the world went a little nuts when JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Justin Timberlake and, yes, the devil-horned Bass, reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards. It was a magical moment; one that I thought (before Lance Bass successfully crushed all of my hopes and dreams) may be recreated.

I’m trying to hold on to a modicum of hope and believe that this really IS happening, and they’re making it look like a joke just to get a fan reaction. Yeah, as soon as I typed it, I knew it wasn’t true.
Please excuse me while I grab a broom to sweep up my shattered hopes and dreams.
