Two months ago, we at PopWrapped brought you this story about Julianne Moore being reportedly cast as President Alma Coin for the third and fourth Hunger Games movies, Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2.
Today, the official Hunger Games Twitter account confirmed that Julianne has officially been cast as District 13’s President. For those of you who haven’t read the books or need a refresher, President Coin is the President of the rebel forces hiding out in the abandoned District 13. She leads the rebellion and keeps everything in a state of organized panic when things get crazy.
Moore recently completed work on a Carrie remake and on Seventh Son, a movie about an 18th century boy fighting evil spirits, one of whom is portrayed by Moore.
