With 138,000 sold in the week ending June 15, Jack White’s Lazaretto claims the top spot, according to NielsenSoundScan. This is his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

His solo debut, Blunderbuss, also claimed the top spot and sold roughly 138,000 copies as well.

Lazaretto, released through Columbia Records on White’s own Third Man Records label, also managed to set the record for the largest amount of vinyl albums sold in a week since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.

The vinyl itself, which features many bonus features, sold 40,000 copies allowing it to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart easily.

During his appearance on Conan on June 11, White said: “This is my proudest moment with Third Man Records.” In other recent appearances, he has described some of unexpected features on the LP. He talks about how the LP plays at three different speeds, the playable tracks hidden under the center label and how side A plays from the inside to the outside. And to add to it all, there is an etched hologram that, with the right lighting, casts the image of an angel. The more light you add, the more angels appear!

Instructions on how to view the hologram can be found here.

If you’d like to get your hands on a copy of this Ultra LP, you can purchase it straight from the Third Man Records website or purchase the digital copy from the iTunes Store.
