Jake Miller Says Goodbye to Ex in New Single “Last Text”

Jake Miller by Derrick Freske

At this point in his career, it is no secret that Jake Miller knows how to curate amazing music. Wether you are a current fan of his or a soon to be fan, Jake really has a tune for everyone. Jake is continuing his Summer role-outs this week with “Last Text“, and if you were ever in a relationship and you needed to let go of them, but decided to hit them up anyway, when you know you probably shouldn’t, this song is for you.

Pouring his emotions into his latest track, “I’ve been so different, not me anymore, but its time to pick myself off the floor” Miller sings, letting us know that he is moving on from this Ex and deciding to find himself again. “This is my last try to get through to you/ The last time I cry over you/ I promise this is the last text that I’ll send/ Then you will never hear from me again,” Miller sings over a heart thumping beat.

Forever obsessing about new Jake Miller music. This three minute single was co-written by Spencer Sutherland, Scott Pelsang, and Fly By Midnight’s, Slavo. Adding to that, Pelsang and Slavo also helped Miller with co-producing the track. Jake’s newest track, “Last Text” follows previously released “Nervous” and “Ocean Away“, and marks 3/5 songs to be released this Summer by Miller ahead of his upcoming tour with Hoodie Allen.
