James Franco, best known for his role on ABC’s General Hospital, has mentioned that he is involved in an upcoming TV project.
The actor uploaded a set of artwork on Instagram and mysterious Tweets saying that he will be making a big announcement August 21st. He tweeted on August 19th saying that the station doesn’t want him to reveal what station his project will be on just yet. He also tweeted that there is a new show with himself and a lot of other silly things.
There was a picture of James’ face overlapping onto a Van Gogh portrait with “New TV Production: James Franco Presents.”
The series will be focusing on his artistic works and passions. The network has released a statement saying that this series will present a special opportunity to listen to James’ own projects that have never even been seen by the public eye. There will also be hours of video footage from Franco’s own library.
The new television series is set to air on Ovation, a network specifically catered to the arts.
Franco’s past TV appearances include Freaks and Geeks and Hollywood Heights. James is also signed on to portray a doctor in the next season of Fox’s The Mindy Project.
