If any of you didn’t know, which I’m sure you did, September 1 was the start of term for Hogwarts Students. Harry’s son, James Sirius Potter, started with them this past Monday.
I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts

Wondering what House he might get into? I couldn’t see him being in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, and not really Slytherin, either, although Rowling has surprised us all. (I’m still wounded by Hedwig’s death and get a pang of sadness in my gut when reading or watching it happen again!)
Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody’s surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed. — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 1, 2015
Of course you weren’t surprised, just like Rowling said. The boy is clearly sticking to his name, but let’s talk about that bit about Teddy Lupin. He was a Hufflepuff AND Head Boy?! Couldn’t belong to his parents anymore! Although, I’m sure the Marauder would want his son in his House, Gryffindor, I’m sure he would have been proud either way, especially with that Head Boy title.
