Days after announcing a new album, entitled Unbreakable, and an upcoming world tour, Janet Jackson has dropped her newest single, “Love.”
The song is a slow ballad which showcases her beautiful vocals. She posted just a snippet of the song, 43 seconds to be exact, but it’s enough. Will the song build from there? Or will it stay a sweet love song? The music industry and fans can’t wait to find out!
The lyrics are poignant:
I lived through my mistakes, it’s just a part of growing and never for a single moment did I ever go without your love. You make me feel wanted, I want to tell you how important you are to me and I, love.
As you listen to the clip, it’s hard not to notice how similar her voice is to her late brother Micheal’s, especially on a slow ballad like this.
