Anyone who loves Jeff Bridges will be pleased to know that Jeff Bridges and the Abiders are all set to be the headlining act at the 2014 Lebowski Fest. The country star, who was in the Cohen Brother’s cult comedy will perform April 25th with his band for the Dude’s loyal fans.
The performance will take place at Wiltern Theater event in Los Angeles, where Live Nation is hosting the two-day event. The Lebowski Fest started in 2002 in Louisville, Kentucky. Since that inaugural festival the event has been held in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Austin, Seattle, London and Edinburgh.
Although this is classified as a festivals, it will end up being one big party. Jeff Bridges plans on living it up saying everyone will ‘drink white Russians, throw some rocks and party with an array of Dudes, Walters and Maudes’.
Bridges will not be the only big name at the event, as the Kyle Gass Band (one half of Tenacious D) will put on a show along with memorabilia, a screening of the feature film and to top everything off, the signature bowling party.
