Jennifer Aniston & Julia Roberts To Star In Mother’s Day Film

Garry Marshall has a ‘Mother’s Day’ comedy in the works, with Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis expected to star in it.

Holiday-themed films have definitely become a thing in recent years and there’s no denying that comedies of the kind are Garry Marshall’s specialty. Apparently, there’s a Mother’s Day film in the works and it has already found its two main stars in Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston.

Reportedly, the director has already managed to get Julia Roberts signed to star in the upcoming film. Sources also want Jennifer Aniston in the final stages of negotiating her contract, along with Jason Sudeikis and Kate Hudson. From the looks of it alone, Marshall seems to be eyeing a wonderful cast for Mother’s Day, doesn’t it? The combination of the Pretty Woman star and Friends’ Rachel Green alone seems promising enough, as the two of them are masters of the kind!

Mother’s Day is set to be a spinoff of the comedies New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day. The film is said to revolve around various mothers of different ages, as the well-known celebration approaches. Marshall will be directing, following a script penned by Anya Kochoff-Romano and Lily Hollander. No more details have been revealed regarding the project, so there’s no release date either, but more details should come out as we go.
