After a horrifying split from Ben Affleck just one year ago, Jennifer Garner is out and about again, finally happy.
According to People, Garner is starting a new life after breaking up with long-time husband Affleck.
“It’s great to see her happy again,” a friend said.
Garner, however, stands by her promise that she will not start dating or seeing other men until the divorce is finalized.
Despite their separation, the two have been spending a lot of time together. They still take the kids out, and they go to eat at many different restaurants around the Los Angeles area. However, this does not mean that they are calling off the divorce.
“They’re not best friends, but they share in the joy of their children,” an industry source told the magazine. “They are doing it their own way, and that way works for them right now.”
According to other sources who have observed the couple, it is obvious that the couple is not together, but they still work to keep a close-knit family and do what is best for their three children, who are extremely close with both Affleck and Garner.
They continue to work to get their divorce finalized, and, instead of focusing on just that, they are doing what they can for the family.
The family just recently went on a vacation together, and they were also seen eating together and spending some personal time together, even on Valentine’s Day. However, the sources still claim that this does not mean anything when it comes to reconciliation. The couple will continue to remain separated, as their marriage was obviously not what either of them were expecting.
Before Affleck, Garner was married to Scott Foley. They divorced in 2004, and, now, Affleck and Garner are separated. Hopefully, Garner finds who is perfect for her, as Affleck finds out who is best for him.
