Jennifer Lawrence continues to amaze. Mid-interview, Lawrence spotted a crying girl in a wheelchair behind the barrier. Being the flawless human being she is, she stopped the interview, managed to manoeuvre through the barrier, had a chat and gave the girl a big hug! Check out the rather moving clip below:

Although we can’t hear what Lawrence is telling the young girl, it’s obvious that the girl and her mother were very touched by Katniss herself taking a few moments to chat/take photos.
It’s refreshing to see a young Hollywood star become a true role model for young girls. Lawrence agreed saying, “growing up I didn’t have a female hero the way that Katniss is. I think she’s a wonderful role model for young girls. I’m happy that they have a character like that.”
So are we Jennifer, so are we.
