It’s no surprise that Jennifer Lawrence peaked on Billboard’s Hot 100. Taking spot number 12, Lawrence in an interview with David Letterman explains, she is a terrible singer! She goes on to say, she was lied to as a child about being a great singer, before a performance and her father mocked her since.

Well, she can share her awards with her father, because “The Hanging Tree,” just took center stage! I saw Mockingjay Part 1, the day it came out and that song was absolutely beautiful. There were many YouTubers who said themselves that the song brought them to tears. “The Hanging Tree,” was a powerful song with lyrics written by Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins. If you haven’t heard the song, I suggest you do; I know it’s going on my iPod.
