Even though the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Dreamworks’ brand-new animated film, Home, was helmed by Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez has managed to get herself a spot on it. Her contribution is titled “Feel The Light” and it now has a lyric video to go by.
“Feel The Light” serves as a simple, piano-driven midtempo ballad with an uplifting and empowering message, much like Rihanna’s “Towards The Sun”. Jennifer Lopez sings the Kiesza-penned lyrics beautifully on top of the simple production, courtesy of Stargate. The accompanying lyric video features scenes from the film, along with shots of the songstress recording her vocals in the studio. Needless to say, she looks naturally beautiful as per usual.
Jennifer Lopez did not simply lend her vocals to the Home soundtrack, but she is also voicing Tip’s mother in the film. Even though “Feel The Light” serves as her only contribution to the soundtrack, the same doesn’t apply for Kiesza and Stargate, as both make other appearances on the tracklist as well.
