Joan Rivers Discussed Her Apprehension About Her Health On ‘Good Morning America’

Before she died, Joan Rivers discussed her doubts about her health with the then host of Good Morning America.

Rumors swirl around Joan Rivers’ death after a routine outpatient procedure. Thankfully, some answers have surfaced. Recently a video showing Rivers discussing her concerns about anesthesia and an apparent heart condition came to light, and has caused quite a rumble.

“All of a sudden you’ll be on stage and hear ‘tha-thud!’ … It scares the hell out of me,” Rivers revealed to the then Good Morning America host, Joan Lunden. This arrhythmia, which is where the heart can beat out of sync, made Rivers quite apprehensive.

In the interview, she added, “When you go under, say for plastic surgery or something like that, that’s when your heart can go out of kilter. So I’m always very careful.”

As to other health-related issues, River’s revealed that she dieted all the time. It seemed the comedian loved to eat, so she had to be cautious. “If ketchup dropped on one of your children, you should not leave her in the room alone with me. I will eat anything,” she joked.

Do you have any fond memories of the late comedienne? Do you have any favorite skits that Rivers performed? Sound off below!
