For those fans of The Daily Show who have been impatiently waiting for Jon Stewart to make his return to his news show, the wait is almost over.
Stewart is due to make his return to Comedy Central next week.
With Stewart out, comedian John Oliver has been taking over the hosting duties for The Daily Show in his absence.
Stewart has been out for the past twelve weeks filming for his directorial debut in the movie, Rosewater. The film is based on the book Then They Came for Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity and Survival.
The book tells the story of a BBC journalist who spent four months in an Iranian prison.
Jon Stewart will make his highly awaited return on September 3rd at 11pm on Comedy Central.
