Ladies and Gentlemen, set your DVR’s and perhaps an alarm or two, Dracula is coming to NBC and he arrives Friday, October 25 at 10pm.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers is set to bring this latest incarnation of Bram Stoker’s classic vampire to life, but don’t think for a second that this will be your average run-of-the-mill Dracula, oh no, Meyers is bringing the sexy.
In the latest teaser unveiled by E! Online we see Dracula surrounded by what appears to be thousands of ladies all dressed in red. “…like a kid in a candy store…until he bares his teeth and becomes a vampire at an all-you-can-eat buffet. Same thing.”

The official synopsis from NBC reads, “It’s the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He’s especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan… until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.”
Starring alongside Meyers are Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Mr Selfridge), Katie McGrath (Merlin), Nonso Anozie (Game of Thrones), Victoria Smurfit (Trial and Retribution) and Thomas Kretschmann (The River)
