Re-imaging artwork of previous known entities is an excellent trend on the internet lately so it was only a matter of time before “Firefly” found its way into the Disney realm.
Artist Stephen Byrne released his illustration to the internet on Twitter, by sending a mention at “Firefly” creator himself, Joss Whedon. In addition to the “Firefly” work, Byrne dipped into another Whedon universe with an illustration of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.

Both pieces look absolutely marvelous and if Stephen Byrne wants to stick with Whedon works, my vote for the next Disney rendering would be for “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”. Make it happen, Stephen!
