An update regarding the status of a third Sherlock Holmes film has surfaced.
There has been official confirmation of ‘Sherlock Holmes 3’, which would be the third instalment in the series by Guy Ritchie.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Jude Law said, “We had a meeting this year, the three of us, and I think it’s being written now. Warner Bros have still got to agree to pay for it… I think they want to!”
Earlier this year, it was confirmed by producer Dan Lin that Drew Pearce, who wrote Iron Man 3 had been hired to work on the film. It has also been reported that Ritchie has signed on to direct the film and is hoping to keep the production of the film based in Los Angeles.
Law will feature with Richard E Grant in new crime comedy Dom Hemingway which will be released in the UK on November 15. Watch the trailer below.
