News about the 24 revival has been pretty quiet recently. That all changed yesterday (December 19) when the tv show’s executive producer, David Fury took to Twitter teasing some “big 24 casting news”.
Joining 24’s leading man, Keifer Sutherland, in the upcoming 12-episode revival will be Australian actress, Judy Davis.
Davis will be playing Margot. Though no further information has been officially released about the character, Fury denied the reports that Margot was a German arms dealer.
Or, I'll tell you now… It's the great JUDY DAVIS! Passage to India, Barton Fink, Husbands and Wives… Etc.

Davis is well known in her home country for playing novelist Miles Franklin in My Brilliant Career. She’s best known abroad for her amazing portrayal of Judy Garland in the miniseries, Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows and as Sally in Woody Allen’s 1992 film Husbands and Wives.
Along with Sutherland, other cast members returning include Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O’Brian), Kim Raver (Audrey Raines) and William Devane (James Heller).
The new series, set four years after the season finale, has Sutherland’s Jack Bauer faced with an international crisis in Europe, with filming taking place in and around London.
24: Live Another Day is set to screen in April 2014.
