Late night TV has had a lot of balls recently–and we mean that literally.
Last week, Jimmy Kimmel took a (modified) baseball to the face from Dodgers star pitcher Clayton Kershaw, and now Jimmy Fallon has gotten in on the kindergarten-level fun with the help of actress Julia Roberts.
Julia and Jimmy smacked each other in the face with large, clear plastic balls in a game called, not surprisingly, “Face Balls.”
Fallon added a high-tech twist to raise the comedy level of the piece, using super slow-motion HD cameras to capture every detail of the bizarre facial contortions rendered at the time of impact.
As one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Julia Roberts’ famous face has been in close-up on our screens thousands of times before, but never like this!
