During The Hollywood Reporter Emmy round table special, lead actresses in some stellar shows sat down to discuss their own series.
Included in the panel were Jessica Pare (Mad Men), Claire Danes (Homeland), Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Keri Russell (The Americans) and Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife).
Well, multiple Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy award winner Julianna revealed quite the whopper when discussing her journey into the role of Alicia Florrick.
Margulies revealed that Ashley Judd initially turned down the role, and it was THEN turned down by Helen Hunt!!
We’re pretty sure The Good Wife wouldn’t be as amazing as it is with EITHER of these ladies as Alicia Florrick.
Talk about feeling like ‘sloppy thirds’, geez!!
Oh well, because it’s Julianna’s award winning role now, and I can’t imagine ANYONE else in her place!!!
