After The Avengers came out, fans started wondering if something similar was in the stars for the Justice League. With Man of Steel’s impending release, fans can rest easy that there might be hope after all for film with Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and the rest of the gang.
Damon Lindelof, the writer of Star Trek Into Darkness, has addressed question of a Justice League movie.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Lindelof finds the problem of the superhero film lies in finding an appropriate tone. He makes an example of The Green Lantern and The Dark Knight, suggesting that the two films are different in tone and style.
He added that Man Of Steel might be the movie to set the tone for a Justice League film.
Lindelof told The Hollywood Reporter that, “You want to feel like someone is establishing a world where the Justice League can exist, maybe Man of Steel is that movie. If Man of Steel works, and it’s great, I think it starts to make sense where Paradise Island is in that world. Because that’s an entirely different world than the one Christopher Nolan introduced.”
Ultimately, Lindelof says that the future of a Justice League film will be determined after the release of Man of Steel on June 14.
