Over the weekend a song, “Slave to the Rhythm,” sung by  the late Michael Jackson was leaked. It was recorded before his sudden death in 2009 surfaced online. The modified song featured pop icon Justin Bieber.

Bieber’s authorities take any credit for the song release, but Justin’s twitter made it apparent that the song leak was not a mistake. Jackson and Rodney Jenkins supposedly penned the new hit at the time of the sessions for 2001’s Invincible.

The “Beauty and the Beat” singer paid respects to The King of Pop on August 16th on Twitter apparently minutes ahead of the collaboration leaked online.

Justin was also looking to buy Jackson’s famous Neverland Ranch located in Santa Barbara, California. The track may have been meant for a new compilation album of unreleased songs in 2010.

Justin has said about Michael in the past that “he has been viewing videos of his concerts over again he is one of my biggest influences”.
