Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance on CBS’s Fashion Rocks concert special on Tuesday night, likely hoping to repair his severely damaged image.
Things were all well and good (only a couple loud boos) until Bieber decided to strip for the crowd (as a way to promote the Calvin Klein brand). The minute Bieber began to take off his clothes, there were cheers alright, but nothing was more resounding than the loud “boos” he got.
Bieber awkwardly delivered his lines and it’s quite obvious that the crowds jeers caught him off guard. I’m not overly surprised with this reaction considering Bieber has spent the better part of this year in headlines, not for his music, but for his arrests, court appearances and his “intense” fight with Orlando Bloom (please note that the “intense” is well…quite obviously sarcastic).
I do give Bieber kudos for bearing with the booing and going through with the show; however, maybe a few more jeers and boos will make him realize that people don’t think his antics are amusing whatsoever.
