He almost gave us a lovely Christmas present when he declared on December 24th, 2013 that he was retiring.
Well, the truth is that it was just a joke. *sigh*
Two months and a compilation album (named Journals) after, we expected that he was going to step back and take at least 10 years off to focus on his new music, on his latest escapades, Selena–whatever he wanted.
It has to be said that it is far from being the case.
Journals did not fare very well and was met with mixed reviews from critics. His documentary film Justin Bieber’s Believe failed to generate massive enthusiasm.
However, this does not seem to bother him: today, he shared a video of himself on his Instagram dancing to what appears to be a new song he just wrote, and which could have been featured on Journals.
Another snapshot shows him looking sad and almost absent next to rapper T.I. in the studio.
Maybe a collaboration is in the works.
Could this new song be the beginning of a new project?
