Justin Bieber will not be playing Robin in the Warner Bros. still very new Batman vs Superman movie.
According to TheWrap, a very close source with knowledge of the actual script has said that the photograph posted on Instagram over the weekend was actually inauthentic and is most likely a part of a new skit for Funny or Die.
Hours before, Bieber tweeted, “Off to do something funny….or die :)”
With all the viral pranks happening lately, (Jimmy Kimmel’s twerk fail video, J.J. Abrams’ “trailer” for a book written by someone else, etc.) we can’t say we’re too surprised, but we can give props to the one(s) behind it. It’s very clear they did their research. Although most of the information can be found via IMDB, the title page of the script contains very accurate information.
All in all, it comes down to this: Bieber has never seen the script, nor will he be portraying Robin in the movie. In fact, we’re pretty sure that said script hasn’t even been fully written yet.

The Batman vs. Superman film will star Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. The movie is due out in 2015.
