Fans of Canadian musician Justin Bieber have certainly had their holiday season rocked the past few days after appeared to announce his retirement earlier this week. Now Bieber’s team are in damage mode with his manager attempting to downplay the singer’s possible retirement.
The “Baby” singer recently told LA’s Power 106FM that his next album may very well end up being his last. Bieber said, “I’m actually retiring. I’m retiring man. I’m just gonna take some time. I think I’m probably going to quit music.”
Scooter Braun has been tackling the fallout ever since, saying that Bieber was “just kidding” when the comments in question had been made. Braun has this to say about the rumor: “Next year he’s taking a break just to make music and relax, take some time for himself for the first time since he was 12.”
Bieber’s new album, Journals is slated to be released on December 23rd, just two days before Christmas. The album will contain Bieber’s #MusicMondays iTunes releases.
