Just last year, Justin Timberlake took the world by storm with his comeback to the music industry. The release of his third studio album, “The 20/20 Experience”, brought him back into the music game earning him several accolades and awards. In September 2013, just six months after the release of that album, he released the 2nd half of his musical project, “The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2”.
It’s easy to see that he’s had quite the busy year. After the success of the albums, the “Suit and Tie” singer began touring with his opening show in Brooklyn on November 6, 2013.
But just last week, Timberlake had to postpone his Madison Square Garden show. It was originally scheduled for February 19th, but due to health reasons he had to move it to Friday, February 21st.
“Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this… Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight’s show to Friday due to health reasons,” he tweeted.
Because that NY show was moved, the show scheduled in Buffalo the following day (Saturday, February 22nd) was postponed even further. When Timberlake appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, he explained why. “The routing of the tour, it’s just impossible to break down the stage and get the stage up,” he said. But it wasn’t moved a few days later, it was postponed to the summer on July 9th.
The “Mirrors” singer even took the time to give a personal message on Jimmy Fallon’s show. As the camera began to focus on him and some dramatic music accompanied, he began to apologize to his fans in Buffalo. “We’ve got a good thing going and I don’t want to mess that up. So I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do. I’m coming back July 9th and you better be ready,” he promised, even adding a massage from his buddy Jimmy if fans aren’t satisfied.
If you are a ticketholder for the previously scheduled show in Buffalo, don’t fret because tickets will be honored at the door on July 9th. JT’s website also adds that “refunds if necessary available at point of purchase.”
