Kaley Cuoco discusses the challenges she’s faced after her divorce…
Relationships aren’t easy. We fall in love, and sometimes it doesn’t really work out. When that happens, the best possible route is to free ourselves of any vestiges of the past so that we can move on.
But what if we carry around a mark of that past relationship on our very skin? Something that could remind us of the heartache every time we look down; what do we do then?
For Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco, who had the date of her wedding tatted on her back, the answer was simple. If you can’t get rid of the tattoo in question, merely cover it up.
In a recent appearance at The Ellen Degeneres Show, the actress talked about her divorce from her husband, professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting, and then she showed off the new moth tattoo she used to cover up her wedding ink:
“Yes, I’m getting divorced. Ya know, last year was very bizarre, and we all go through really weird ups and downs. And sometimes I’m a little bit more seen. And everyone goes through that stuff. Ya know, so I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. And, ya know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now.” she told host Ellen DeGeneres.
Kaley, who was wearing a dress that exposed her back, then turned to show off her new tattoo and admitted that getting such large initials may be in hindsight might have been a ‘big mistake’.
But if one expects a deeper meaning towards the moth that she now has on her back, don’t expect Kaley to have one. When Ellen asked her about the significance of it, the television star simply answered, “The significance is: it was big enough to cover up the number.”
Well there you go, at least she finds humor in a rough situation!
