Kat Graham Enlists Babyface For New Single, Secrets

We first became aware of Kat Graham thanks to her portrayal of Bonnie Bennett in The CW’s hit supernatural show, The Vampire Diaries. However, this lady has a music career as well and with an album currently in the works, she’s now dropped a brand-new, Babyface-assisted single, called “Secrets”.

This time around, Kat Graham joined her forces with Babyface and the iconic producer not only crafted “Secrets” for her, but he laid vocals on it as well. The track’s production is filled with synths, which slowly build into the chorus, as the songstress sensually sings the sultry lyrics. Later on, the bridge arrives with the addition of some major electric guitar riffs, adding to the overall affection of the tune. Basically, it’s a retro kind of soul-pop midtempo ballad with some really sexy lyrics to go by and it works perfectly!

“Secrets” serves as the second official single to be lifted from the songstress forthcoming, as-yet-untitled debut studio album and is a follow-up to the throwback-pop lead single “1991″. Kat Graham is independently working on her very first full-length record and is expected to release it later this year. For the time being, take a listen to “Secrets” via its lyric video below.
