Seems some fans would go to great lengths to show their appreciation for the things they love. And that includes baking a life-sized cake of their idols and winning top prize for it at the International Cake event, like the one above of Katniss Everdeen.
British fan and baker Lara Clarke baked a life-sized sponge cake of the Hunger Games character using 150 eggs, 10 kg of butter and flour and took almost two and half months to make.
Jennifer Lawrence was shown the picture during her interview with Nick Grimshaw of the BBC, which you can view here. The cake stands at Lawrence’s height of 5’10 (though that maybe inaccurate as Jennifer is listed as 5’8 on IMDB).
